Arbitration

Arbitration is a method of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) where parties agree to resolve their legal disputes outside of court, through a neutral third party known as an arbitrator. It is commonly used in commercial, construction, employment, and international disputes. Arbitration offers a more private, flexible, and often faster process than litigation, with decisions (called “awards”) that are typically binding and enforceable in court. Legal practitioners in this area assist clients in drafting arbitration agreements, representing them during proceedings, and enforcing or challenging arbitration awards.
