Darren M. Digiacinto
Darren joined the team at Winston & Cashatt in January 2017. Before entering private practice in Spokane in 2009, he served as a judicial clerk at Division II of the Washington State Court of Appeals for the Honorable Judge Marywave Van Deren and the now-deceased Honorable Judge C.C. Bridgewater. His pre-law background includes serving as a securities-licensed branch manager for a national financial institution.
Darren’s practice focuses largely on business formations, transactions, and disputes. Darren also practices in the areas of construction litigation, real property transactional work, real property litigation, and creditor/debtor rights, including bankruptcy. In the bankruptcy realm, Darren has represented both debtors and creditors in various aspects of bankruptcy cases and appeals. Darren is licensed to practice in Washington and Idaho state and federal courts and he has argued before the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on multiple occasions. He currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for the Spokane County Bar Association. Darren is currently the past-president of the Federal Bar Association of the Eastern District of Washington and is a past-president of the Eastern District of Washington Bankruptcy Bar Association. Darren has also served as a Trustee for the Washington State Bar Association’s Creditor/Debtor Section.
Darren and his wife Corey are foodies who enjoy travel, vinyl recordings, gardening, home improvement projects, and reading.
