Kenneth A. Thompson
Ken Thompson joins Winston & Cashatt after working in civil litigation in disputes related to property, contracts, construction, and employment. His practice at Winston & Cashatt focuses on land use, real estate transactions, and construction.
He is a graduate of the American University, Washington D.C., College of Law. As a student, he gained courtroom experience through the school’s Criminal Justice Clinic representing defendants and later as a prosecutor in Prince George’s County, Maryland. His coursework focused heavily on the Constitution and Administrative Law.
After graduating in 2004, he pursued a career coaching soccer at the club and collegiate levels, including over 10 years as the Head Coach of the North Idaho College Men’s Soccer Program. While at NIC, he also taught as Adjunct Faculty in the Political Science and English Departments and served on committees concerning facility development, college governance, academic success, and Title IX.
Ken grew up in Coeur d’Alene and competed for dominant soccer teams at Coeur d’Alene High School, Seattle Pacific University, and Gonzaga University. Outside the office, he enjoys running and biking with his family and friends.
